The INRAE members of the editorial board come from different structures and departments within the institute that are relevant to informing the journal about the institute's orientations and thus helping it to consolidate and develop its editorial line.

The external members of the editorial board are chosen to support the journal's policy of openness outside INRAE.

The members of the editorial board are renewed every four years.

Under the leadership of the co-director of publication and the editor-in-chief, the editorial board meets once or twice a year to discuss the journal's activities, reflect on its development, and establish an action plan.

Members of the editorial board may also be asked on a regular basis to act as reviewers or to help find reviewers.
