A new website for NOV'AE!
Posted on 2025-02-20NOV'AE, “ingénierie et savoir-faire innovant,” is a transfer journal attached to the DipSO (Open Science Directory) of INRAE (the French National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and the Environment). It is evolving and migrating to a new site: https://revue-novae.fr/. This site is hosted by the University of Bordeaux's diamond open-access journal platform (Open U Bordeaux).
Here you'll find all our articles (regular issues and special issues since 2004).
A public publishing platform hosting several INRAE journals
NOV'AE is joining 3 other INRAE journals already on Open U Bordeaux: INRAE Productions Animales, Sciences Eaux & Territoires and Journal of Plant Hydraulics. This move will foster synergies and collaborations between journals.
The Open U Bordeaux platform is based on Open Journal System, the international reference for open source editorial management software.
Improved visibility and accessibility
Moving from a general-purpose website to this dedicated publishing platform will give NOV'AE greater visibility and optimized accessibility:
- Access to full-text articles in HTML (from 2025) and PDF formats
- Easily accessible, up-to-date sections in French and English
- Improved indexing by bibliographic search engines and support for referencing in databases such as DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals), which lists open-access journals worldwide.
More features
Authors - and editors - will now have access to analysis tools to measure the interest generated by their publication:
- Download statistics to measure the audience for articles.
- Citation indicators to assess the impact of publications.
Unchanged editorial strategy
While the diffusion platform changes, NOV'AE's DNA remains unchanged: to publish innovations at the service of INRAE research processes. Likewise, the editorial team continues to support its authors with the same commitment. So don't hesitate: publish in NOV'AE!
Your opinions count!
We hope you find this new site a rewarding experience, and look forward to your feedback and suggestions.
