Abstract

The databases located at Nantes (SGBDR PostgreSQL) and used by the researchers of LERECO (the economics unit) are available under the MEDINA software. This tool is more efficient in terms of access to the data and autonomy of the user. The idea of the creation of MEDINA came from the increase in the amount of data on one hand, and on the other hand from the diversity and the frequency of demands for data.
