Information System Nutriflux

Abstract

Nutriflux is an information system for the modeling of ruminant nutrition, with limited access and containing data from international publications. It allows to answer very specific research questions. It currently includes three different databases. The actors are researchers, students, a data processing engineer and a computer scientist. The relational model allows to receive any type of experience and any type of measured data. The data are homogenized, finely identified, some can be estimated using an external system. The processes are user access and authentication, data input, data validation, food characterization and extraction. The valorization is done outside Nutriflux by meta-analysis. Nutriflux allows a strong data structuration and a detailed description of animals, measured variables and measurement methods. Nutriflux has enabled at least 8 international publications and 5 doctoral theses.
