Influence de la conductivité sur la propagation dans l’eau d’un champ électrique produit par un engin de pêche électrique

Abstract

During electrofishing, streams can present different conductivities. This study has been implemented to check whether the conductivity has an influence on the dispersion of the electric field within the water. An experimental device was developed to analyze the profile of the tension gradient from the anode when controlling the conductivity at the same time. The results show that the electric field presents two different behaviour patterns: when the conductivity rises from 15 to 133 µS cm-1 , the voltage gradient rises also; and beyond 133 µS cm-1 , the voltage gradient remains constant while the conductivity is rising.
