Focus on a collaborative work sequence between an animal experiment technician and a scientific team.

Abstract

In order to identify trends in the evolution of the profession of animal experimenter, three members of the HR Observations and Innovations Unit (Philippe Larcheron, Coralie Maurin, Emilie Riche) carried out a field study with two teams of animal experimenters at the INRAE Val de Loire Center (cattle/small ruminants team of the PAO EU and level 2 confinement team of the PFIE). This study involved 3 weeks of observations and interviews spread over 6 months. One of the observation periods involved a collaborative work sequence between Scott and Camille, from the NeuroEthology and Social Cognition team of the Physiology of Reproduction and Behavior UMR, and Didier, PAO's small ruminant breeding manager. This phase 2 sequence of the MRI training protocol took place in the MRI room of the PIXANIM platform.
