About the Journal
NOV'AE is a reference journal that has been disseminating the evolution of expertise and skills at INRAE for over 40 years to meet the needs of its scientific communities.
NOV'AE has a strong HR dimension, promoting the engineering skills, creativity and inventiveness of INRAE staff in the service of research.
NOV'AE offers two types of publication:
- regular articles published on this site, with an average delay of 6 months after submission.
- special issues on a particular theme: Well-being of animals in experimental facilities, Agronomic resources for research, Science and participatory research for the most recently published issues. These issues are available on this site, and are also published in limited print runs. The editor-in-chief can be contacted for a mailing.
NOV'AE is also open to innovative formats: articles including sketch-notes (see here an exemple), articles in video format, etc.
Articles are reviewed by a peer chosen for his or her recognized competence in the subject, and without conflict of interest.
Last but not least, the journal supports its authors, either through personalized assistance with submission, or through writing workshops.
